After launching in-house developed scooters in India last year, Hero Motocorp unveiled its first in-house made Splendor iSmart 110 at the Auto Expo 2016 in Delhi.

Hero Splendor iSmart 110 is powered by an air cooled single cylinder 4-stroke 1100cc engine, which can churn out 8.9bhp at 7,500 rpm and 9Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a four-speed gear box.

"After achieving a significant milestone in our solo journey last year with the successful launch of the first of our in-house developed scooters, we are now setting sights on developing smarter products for a global audience," said Hero MotoCorp CMD Pawan Munjal in a press statement.

Hero's pavilion at the Auto Expo also welcomed the Xtreme 200S, the XF3R –design concept vehicle -- and the Duet E-electric scooter concept.

The Hero Xtreme 200 S is powered by an air cooled, single cylinder 4-stroke 200cc engine, which is tuned to churn out 18.bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.2Nm torque at 6,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gear box and the bike features rear mono suspension and ABS. Built on diamond type chassis, the Xtreme 200S feature rear mono suspension, front and rear brakes and LED lights.
