New Delhi, Sep 05 (ANI): Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who is on a two-day visit in India received a ceremonial reception at the President’s House in Delhi on Friday. Present at the event to receive Abbott were Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung. The Australian PM also received the guard of honour at his arrival. Later, Abbott also visited the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate to pay his respect to the martyrs. Abbott who arrived Thursday evening in national capital Delhi was in Mumbai on his first day of visit and had attended various functions and had launched a scholarship programme for students named New Colombo Plan.
