The makers of Om Namo Venkatesaya might consider themselves lucky as an important video footage leak from the Telugu film has been foiled by the cops. The same gang that leaked the climax portion of Bahubali 2 aka Baahubali – The Conclusion stole the scenes from the Nagarjuna's upcoming movie.

Reports say that the cops have found out that the gang had stolen 10-minute footage of Om Namo Venkatesaya. Luckily, they were caught before it was leaked online. The six-member group worked in Annapoorna Studios and was part of both the biggies. However, the makers of the Nagarjuna-starrer are yet to respond to the issue.

It may be recalled that the war sequence in the climax from Baahubali – The Conclusion was leaked online and had gone viral. Although the quality of the clip was not up to the mark, the video managed to create sensation, which shows the hype created by the multilingual project directed by SS Rajamouli.

Following the leak, the makers filed the complaint at cyber crime division, which nabbed the culprits behind it.

Coming to Om Namo Venkatesaya, it is a devotional and biographical film, based on the life of Hathiram Bhavaji, a saint who arrived at Tirumala around 1500 CE and turned a big devotee of Lord Venkateswara.

K Raghavendra Rao has directed the movie, which has Anushka Shetty, Saurabh Raj Jain, Pragya Jaiswal and many others in the cast. It has MM Keeravani's music, S Gopal Reddy's cinematography and Vikram Kumar's editing.
