Taiwanese smartphone maker ASUS has finally rolled out the Android 5.0 Lollipop Over the Air (OTA) update for ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 devices.
Though the company promised to release the update in May, it got delayed, as the smartphone maker had to update all its apps, Android runtime, along with the ZenUI interface over the original Android 5.0 Lollipop.

How To Download
For downloading the update, ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 users have to head over to the ASUS official download site. The smartphone will automatically detect the build number and automatically download the corresponding update file for the smartphone.
ASUS warns the smartphone might require a complete factory reset before the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, hence it is recommended to back up all the necessary data before downloading the update file.
An ASUS official said, "ASUS continues to introduce updates for the first generation of smartphones when the company has further introduced the second generation devices in the market unlike few other brands."
