Taiwanese PC maker Asus launched the new line ZenBook series -- UX305CA UX305UA and UX303UB -- in India on Wednesday (March 2).
"The Indian consumers are increasingly moving towards Ultrabooks and the featherweight ZenBook UX303UB is a real performer that redefines ultraportable segment with its svelte design. The UX303 not only offers a 360 degree ultra-fast computing experience, but also battery life that goes up to seven hours on a single charge," Peter Chang, region head (South Asia & India), ASUS, said in a statement.
Among the three, ZenBook UX305UA is the top-end device. It boasts 13.3-inch LED back-lit display with QHD+ (3200x1800p) resolution and comes with Intel HD graphics 520, Core i7/i5 CPU (depending on the user needs), Windows 10 OS, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM, HD Web camera and a high capacity 3-cell Li-ion Polymer battery with 56WHrs power.
"Ultrabooks are made for users' on-the-go and the UX303UB is a perfect device that gets that job done and will never slow the user down. With this, we want to make sure that we deliver the same premium computing experience with the performance they need, at a more affordable price point," Chang added.
On the other hand, ZenBook UX303UB features same 13.3-inch screen, but with full HD resolution. Under the hood, it comes packed with 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-6200U processor backed by Intel HD graphics 520, dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 940M ( N16S-GT) graphics card, 4GB + DRAM DDR3L 4G + GDDR3 2GB Video memory and a 3-cell Li-ion Polymer cell having 50WHrs power.
ZenBook UX305CA comes with 13.3-inch LED back-lit full display and is powered by Windows 10 OS backed by Intel Core m3-6Y30 CPU, Intel HD graphics 515, 4GB RAM, HD web camera and a 3-cell Li-ion Polymer battery with 44Whrs power.
Asus ZenBook series price and availability details:
The company has confirmed that ZenBook UX303UB and UX305CA variants would cost Rs 71,490 and Rs 55,490, respectively. Whereas, the UX305UA model will set you back by Rs 74,190 bucks. All three ZenBook series are now available at the Asus exclusive stores and also at e-commerce sites.
