Asus launches Zenfone Go 4.5 (2nd gen) with Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU in India; price, specifications

Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus launched the second generation budget smartphone Zenfone Go 4.5 in India on April 25.

The new Zenfone Go comes in two variants based on camera hardware. One houses 5MP+0.3MP and another features 8MP+5MP back and front cameras, respectively. Both the models boast Asus' proprietary PixelMaster camera technology and 16 special camera modes.

Other stipulated specification include FWVGA screen, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core SoC (System-on-Chip) backed by 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and a 2,070mAh battery.

"The Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd generation embodies the ASUS spirit of providing luxury at an affordable price. The new Zenfone Go 4.5 (2nd gen) models have been made available on Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, PayTM, Shopclues, also in Asus' exclusive brick-and-mortar stores and all other offline shop with prices starting at Rs. 5,299. They come in six colours options -- pearl white, glamour red, lemon yellow, silver blue, silver and sheer gold.

Competition:

Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 (2^nd gen) will be up against the new Micromax Canvas Spark Plus, Moto E (2^nd gen), BLU Life Mark and Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, among others.
