Asus, the Taiwanese consumer electronics major, has launched a new line of flagship notebook series dubbed as Eeebook in India.
"The new EeeBook series caters to the increasing demand for ultra-portable and affordable notebooks packed with technologies designed to enhance the computing experience, making it the best choice for daily productivity tasks and entertainment," said Peter Chang, ASUS Region Head – South Asia & India Country Manager.
The notebook comes in two variants -- E402MA and E205SA. The latter model is top-end among the two and boasts 360-degree flip ability and ships with Windows 10 OS pre-installed and one year Office 365 free subscription.
It sports 11.6 back-lit HD IPS display and comes packed with Intel Celeron N3050 dual-coreprocessor with 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC inbuilt storage, VGA web camera and 38Whrs based 2-cell Li-ion Polymer battery.
On the other hand, Eeebook E402MA sports 14.0-inch HD IPS screen and features Windows 10 OS, Intel Celeron N2840 dual-core CPU, 2GB, 32GB flash storage, VGA web snapper and a 32WHrs Li-Polymer battery.

The company has confirmed that both Asus Eeebook series -- E402MA and E205SA -- models are now available in Asus exclusive showrooms and partner retailer stores across India with a starting price of Rs. 16,990 and Rs. 23,990 respectively.
