Senior leaders from Samajwadi Party, Congress and the BJP held roadshows on Sunday. The campaigning for the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 has ended. It had begun on Saturday on a peaceful note. Sixty-four per cent voters' turning was recorded during the day. The election in the state will take place in seven phases. The next polling date is February 15.

Mulayam Singh Yadav during his first rally in the state asked voters to vote for rival Lok Dal as the candidate, who is now a member of the party, was initially Yadav's choice from the Samajwadi Party for this election.
