Video game developer Ubisoft has revealed some details for the DLC (downloadable content) pack for its upcoming single player game title, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

The new DLC pack titled "Freedom Cry" is scheduled to arrive in March 2014. It includes a new character named Adewale, nine missions and is set 15 years after the events of Black Flag.

"Born a slave, Adewale found freedom as a pirate aboard the Jackdaw as Captain Edward Kenway's second-in-command," said Ubisoft in a statement. "Fifteen years later, Adewale has become a trained assassin and finds himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue with no weapon nor crew, starting a new adventure of his own," it added.

The content is said to be available as a part of the Season Pass and Ubisoft will offer a 20 percent discount on purchase of each DLC piece of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag individually. The Season Pass will also include additional single-player missions, weapons, skins and other collectibles and new multi-player characters.

It will also feature the "Kraken Ship Pack" which includes additional customisation for Jackdaw and is exclusively available for Season Pass customers.

The Season Pass will be available across PlayStation and Xbox (current and next-gen) and PC platforms at launch for €19.99. The UK price is yet to be announced. The availability of Season Pass on Wii U is still doubtful.
