Asif Ali to star opposite Priyamani in Silent Radio [PHOTOS]

Malayalam actor Asif Ali, who was last seen in Reghu Rama Varma's comedy entertainer "Rajamma @ Yahoo", will be next seen in the upcoming film "Silent Radio".

The cast and crew of the attended its pooja function on Wednesday, 16 December at IMA Hall near Kaloor International Stadium in Kochi. 

As the tagline of "Silent Radio" reads "4 luv, age is just a number", the film is expected to be a romantic entertainer.

After "Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal", South Indian actress Priyamani will be seen as the female lead in "Silent Radio". Interestingly, the film marks the first pairing of the actors.

"Silent Radio", directed by Kalavoor Ravikumar and produced by M-Star Satellite Communications, has been scripted by Ravikumar and MK Padmakumar. "Silent Radio" is expected to go on the floors in January.

Meanwhile, after the success of "Kohinoor", Asif will be producing Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer "The Beautiful Game" under his home banner Adam's World of Imaginations.

The film will be based on football and the makers have announced a casting call for the upcoming film, with auditions on 26 and 27 December at the Kottapadi ground in Malappuram.
