Srinagar, April 6 (ANI): The floricultural department of Jammu and Kashmir opened the Asia's biggest tulip garden for visitors following the bitter winter. This tulip garden attracts lakhs of tourists every year especially during the tourist season. Director of Floriculture Department, Sunil Mishri explained how the vast garden is taken care of and the number of tourists that are to be expected. Large number of people thronged the garden which is located at the foot of captivating Zabarwan hills to witness the blooming tulips. Visitors were mesmerized by the beauty of flowers. The garden was opened in 2008 and was the idea of the then Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad with the aim of boosting tourism and floriculture in the state.
