King's Landing is gearing up for Margaery's wedding to Joffrey Baratheon, played by Jack Gleeson in "Game of thrones". And with the entire Lannisters and their allies under one roof, trouble is not far behind.

If the series follows the books, then Joffrey, who is as vile as ever, will meet his end in the coming episode. The king dies on his wedding day after being poisoned, but not before GoT creators put up an over-the-top nuptial scene for viewers.

"When a wedding congregates so many of our characters, we dwell on that congregation at length," GoT bosses David Benioff and D.B. Weiss told HitFix."For us it's fun to see characters who normally occupy separate storylines collide like charged particles in an accelerator. What if Cersei met Brienne? What if Loras bumped into Jaime?"

"But beyond those moments, there's great pleasure in taking a show which normally bounds between locations and slowing it down, lingering on the moment," they added.

While Joffrey's death has not been confirmed, the official synopsis of the upcoming episode titled "The Lion and the Rose" points out that the king manages to irk many people who have come to attend his wedding.

Here's HBO's official synopsis of the episode: "A who's who of honored guests turns out for Joffrey and Margaery's wedding in King's Landing, but the king's taste in entertainment rubs many of them the wrong way. Meanwhile, Bronn gives a lesson to an unlikely pupil; Bran's vision helps map out his journey; Stannis loses patience with Davos; and Ramsay takes a perverse delight in his new pet."

Ever since Joffrey's wedding was announced, viewers have been speculating the possibility of deaths similar to what took place at the Red Wedding in season three.

The Red Wedding saw the deaths of King Robb, Queen Talisa andLady Catelyn among others.

Meanwhile, the previous episode saw Cersei telling her twin brother that nothing has been going on well for the family.

She sums it up saying: "Let's see. You started a brawl in the street with Ned Stark and disappeared from the capital. My husband died in a tragic hunting accident. My only daughter was shipped off to Dorne. We suffered a siege. A short siege, yes, but one that I didn't expect to survive. Now I'm marrying my eldest son to a wicked little bitch from Highgarden and I'm supposed to marry her brother, a renowned pillow-biter."

GoT fans can watch the upcoming episode of the series on Sunday through HBO's online streaming service, HBO Go. The live streaming can be accessed by clicking here or here.
