Xolo Q3000: 5.7-inch Full HD Quad-Core Phablet Launched in India

Indigenous smartphone maker Xolo has released the company's high-end phablet Q3000 in India, via online stores.

The new phablet has been made available in a number of e-retail stores with varying prices, ranging between ₹18,800 and ₹21,000. It flaunts a monster 5.7-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS screen and runs on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.

Inside, it packs a 1.5GHz MediaTek Turbo quad-core processor backed by PowerVR SGX544 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, with options of expansion up to 32GB and flaunts a standard 13.0-megapixel camera on the rear side and a 5.0-megapixel front camera, which is now often seen in domestic mid-range smartphones.

In terms of connectivity, Xolo Q3000 features 3G, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and A-GPS integrated with Google Maps for navigation.

One mentionable feature of this new Xolo phablet is its very high-capacity 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, which can give backup for 3G talk time of 21 hours and 634 hours (3G) under standby mode. No other mid-range local handset rival or even the MNC-branded expensive, high-end devices can boast of this massive cell.

In related news, Xolo also launched India's first 4G-LTE smartphone, dubbed as LT900, for 17,999 few days ago.
