Chinese technology major Lenovo unveiled its much-anticipated flagship phablet, Vibe Z aka K910, in its home market on Tuesday.

The new Lenovo device sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display and runs on the Android v2.2 Jelly Bean powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor with Adreno 330 graphics engine.

The phablet also features a 13.0-megapixel main camera and a 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera. The main camera is said to feature the Sony IMX135 image sensor which is capable of snapping 10 photos in a mere half-a-second. It also features an f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash support, reported Engadget.

Lenovo, though not mentioning the battery capacity, claimed that the Vibe Z (WCDMA+GSM model) can run up to 278.5 hours in standby mode.

Along with the phablet, the company will also sell an accessory flip cover with trackpad, wherein users can receive and reject calls without removing the screen cover. Its rival Samsung already offers a similar product called 'S View Cover' with its flagship Galaxy Note 3.

Lenovo has reportedly revealed that Vibe Z will be launched in multiple variants based on the market. CDMA2000+GSM along with WCDA+GSM model will be released in the home market by China Telecom and the company plans to release LTE+GSM variant in global markets. Lenovo is still tight-lipped about the Vibe Z's price and release date details.
