The film is estimated to have earned around ₹75 lakh share from Andhra Pradesh in its fifth weekend. Its total worldwide share is close to ₹72 crore, according to Andhra Box Office. The family entertainer has reportedly crossed the ₹23 crore mark in Nizam area, setting an all time record.

The Pawan starrer takes the second spot in the list of top Telugu films with a highest worldwide share. Ram Charan's "Magadheera" tops the list followed by "AD."

Interestingly, "Magadheera" director Rajamouli has claimed that "AD" has surpassed "Magadheera" collections. But, some trade analysts insist that the film is yet to break the collections of Ram Charan's film. Whatsoever, "AD" has already been declared a big hit in the history of Telugu cinema.

Pawan Kalyan has once again proved that he is the king of box office by giving two blockbusters in consecutive years - "Gabbar Singh" in 2012 and "AD" in 2013. The actor will be next seen in the sequel to "Gabbar Singh" (GS), which is all set to go on floors in December. Whether "Gabbar Singh 2" will be able to achieve box office success on similar lines of "GS" and "AD" is anybody's guess.

While the power star has shifted his focus on his next project, the buzz surrounding "AD" doesn't seem to stop. Latest report is that the makers of "AD" have decided to add six-minute footage to the film from 31 October, ahead of Diwali.

Confirming the news, Jeevi of Idlebrain tweeted, "Six minutes worth extra footage to be added to prints of Attarintiki Daaredi from 31 Oct onwards."

The extra scenes are being added to get repeat audience, which might help the film in collecting more revenue.
