Xolo, a subsidiary of Indian smartphone maker Lava Mobiles, has expanded its handset portfolio in India with the Android-powered Q1000S smartphone.
Q1000S went official in the country on Saturday with a price tag of ₹18,999.The new flagship smartphone, which is pitted against Micromax Canvas 4, carries a stylish design. It measures 6.98mm in thickness, sports a 5-inch 720p IPS display with OGS technology and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB RAM.
The smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI 2 sensor and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and is backed by 2,500mAh battery which claims to deliver up to 327 hours of stand-by on 3G and 425 hours on 2G or up to 22.5 hours of 2G, 12.5 hours of 3G talktime. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
In comparison, Micromax's recently launched Canvas 4 is priced at ₹17,999 and comes with a better memory option. In terms of other features like image shooter and display, both smartphones have something similar to offer.
