The Arrowverse crossover episodes are going to get a whole lot interesting with Superman and Lois Lane on board. Played by Tyler Hoechlin, Superman's role has been restricted in previous Supergirl episodes.

Executive producers Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller have confirmed the news. "We couldn't be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters," they said.

What's interesting about Superman's return is that we've always heard of him as someone who is the leader of the superheroes, but hardly seen him in his full element. This time, however, it's going to be different.

While assisting cousin Kara Danvers a.k.a Supergirl in one of her missions, he becomes a part of the Arrowverse team. Although, we are not sure how Lane will be helping in this scenario.

Green Arrow, The Flash, Batwoman, Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, the Elongated Man, Killer Frost, Vibe, The Atom, The Guardian, Mr. Terrific, and Wild Dog are the lot that will be fighting evil. Fourteen superheroes sharing screen space is a TRP rating explosion waiting to happen.

But, there's a good chance that Killer Frost and Vibe go missing in action. Killer Frost has been gone for a while now and it's just Caitlin Snow, her alter ego, who is trying to figure out why that is. Meanwhile, one of Candice Patton's (Iris West) Instagram stories gave away a major plot detail, in which Vibe is death and it's on national news.

All things considered, what we are already thrilled about is Batwoman's introduction. The team's decision to bring in Ruby Rose to play the character has already stirred up a storm on social media, following which the actress has had to quit the platforms. It'll be interesting to see how the viewers will respond to the Batwoman scenes.

The crossover episodes are scheduled to air on December 9, 10 and 11. It will start with The Flash, followed by Arrow and Supergirl.
