Will Team Arrow reunite to save Starling City?Facebook/Arrow

The viewers of "Arrow" were deeply hurt by Roy Harper aka Arsenal's (Colton Haynes) escape from Starling City in Season 3, but they are likely to rejoice with his return in Season 4. The sequel is also expected to show some shocking twists in the lives of onscreen power couple Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).

Although cast and crew of The CW series are tight-lipped over the plot for next season, followers of the show have come up with their own theories.

If the fan fictions are to be believed, then the supernatural drama will return with a two-year jump and several changes in characters' lives. While many of the admirers stated that Oliver and Smoak will be back in Starling City, a few of them have mentioned about Harper's return.

Here are some of the fan theories on "Arrow" Season 4:

  • Felicity had a normal life, right up until an offer was made to her that would change her life forever. But if she really thought Felicity Smoak could become Felicity Queen without any consequences, she'd be sorely mistaken.
  • Two years after the death of Ra's al Ghul at the hands of the Arrow, the newly-christened Star City has achieved a time of relative peace. With Oliver and Felicity enjoying a life away, and the rest of the team going their separate ways, a strange and an explosive message will call Oliver home.
  • A new enemy emerges for team Arrow, an enemy with a deep connection to their past, and suffering follows in his wake. Story is post-Season 3, uses established Olicity. Uses H.I.V.E as an enemy. Gives some villains a little more backstory and depth.
  • Roy learns the hard way to ignore scorned women.
