Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma slammed the reports, which claimed her ex-boyfriend Arjun Kapoor had graced her birthday bash that was held on 1 August.

Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma threw a grand birthday party, which was attended by Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Karan Johar and many other guests from the film industry.

One leading daily had reported that Arjun Kapoor had also attended the party. The report miffed Salman's sister, who took to her Twitter handle to respond to the false piece of news.

Apparently, a photo of the "Tevar" actor was added in the report, which stated that he was invited to the party. Arpita and Arjun were in a serious relationship a few years ago, but the duo eventually parted ways.

The photo of Arjun kapoor from the report, the link of which Arpita shared on Twitter, was later removed and the photographer also apologised on social media.
