Speculations on whether Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o are a couple have once again started doing the rounds after the couple' public display of affection at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.

Rumours of an alleged romance started last year after the duo was photographed hanging out together on more than one occasion. And behaving flirtatiously at the SAG Awards has rekindled such talks.

While on stage to present the award for Male Actor In A TV Movie Or Mini Series to Mark Ruffalo, Leto wrapped his arm around Nyong'o and pulled her closer to him, and this gesture has got tongues wagging once again. It didn't help matters that Leto was constantly staring at her, instead of the audience, when the actress began to read off of the teleprompter before presenting the award.

The couple is yet to confirm whether they are a couple, but Nyong'o is reportedly dating rapper K'naan, the Somali-born musician who is best known for his single "Wavin' Flag," since September 2013.

Last year, Nyong'o joked about the alleged romance with Leto to Ellen DeGeneres saying she can't believe people thought she was dating the "Dallas Buyers Club" actor.

"It's crazy, because I read these rumors — they're so detailed that even I start to question whether they're true or not. I know I've believed them in the past and now I guess I can't believe anything," she said.

Leto, too, joked about their relationship while accepting an award at the Independent Spirit Awards, saying: "I want to thank all the women I've been with and all the women who think they've been with me. And also my future ex-wife, I'm talking to you Lupita Nyong'o!"

Meanwhile, fans have been raving on social networking sites about the pair's chemistry at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, with many saying their union would result in beautiful children.

"I think we can all agree we want to see Lupita and Jared's spectacular love children #SAGAwards," wrote one, while another added: "Can we talk about how if Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o had children, how beautiful would they be? #Ishipit."
