Music maestro AR Rahman has asked his fans to participate in a live chat, which will take place on his 48th birthday on Tuesday, 6 January at 8 pm on his official Facebook page.

Fans have been asked to tag @myqyuki on Facebook and Twitter with a hashtag #HBDARR to participate in the live chat, where they can ask questions to the two time Academy Award winner.

"Join me on 6th January at 8 PM IST for a live chat right here on Facebook! To participate tag @myqyuki on Facebook and Twitter along with ‪#‎HBDARR‬ to your questions. See you then...," Rahman posted on his Facebook page on Friday.

"Send your questions in advance by tagging @myqyuki ‪#‎HBDARR‬. Announcing something special only on my Facebook Live Chat on Tuesday 8 pm IST," he added.

Meanwhile, the Oscar winning composer recently revealed that he will turn  script writer and producer for an untitled film.

"I am not thinking about directing. I am scripting a film and also co-producing it. It's in the process," Rahman said during a press conference for Vikram's upcoming film "I".

It has to be noted that he has once again made it to the list of 114 probables in the best original score category in the Oscar 2015 nomination list for the films "Million Dollar Arm", "The Hundred-Foot Journey" and "Kochadaiiyaan: The Legend".

However, one needs to wait and watch what special news Rahman has on his 48th birthday.
