Multiple reports from Apple's home country, America have hinted that the upcoming new Apple smartphones - iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C - are all set to hit the stores in the third week of September in major markets across the globe.

Technology website, BGR citing multiple sources from American telecom carrier AT & T revealed that the company has barred the employees from taking leave in the second-half of September and has decided to refrain from releasing any other brand smartphones during that period in order to prep for the launch of Apple iPhones.

Further corroborating the reports, another popular network carrier, T-Mobile too has shot out a notice to their employees to refrain from taking leave between 20 to 22 September, all but confirming that the new iPhones are certain to hit the stores during the third week of September.

Last week, reports from Europe and Japan had also pointed out that both the Apple smartphones - premium metal-clad iPhone 5S and plastic based low-cost iPhone 5C - will be unveiled on 10 September in San Francisco, U.S. and hit the stores in select markets by 20 September.

Going by the launch pattern of previous iPhones, Apple is expected to release new smartphones in Tier-1 markets in North America (US & Canada), Europe, Australia and South East Asia within two weeks of its unveiling. The new iPhones are expected to be made available in Tier-2 (emerging or developing) countries such as India, China, Brazil and select regions of Africa a few weeks later.

Apple iPhone 5S will reportedly sport a 4.0-inch screen with IGZO display technology and run on iOS v7.0 powered by the new Apple A7 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. The premium metal-clad is said to feature finger print scanner on its home button, a high-end camera on the rear side with dual-LED flash support and is expected to come in three variants - White, Gold Champagne and Black (Graphite grey).

On the other hand, low-cost iPhone 5C is said to sport a 4.0-inch display with 1136x640p resolutions and run on old dual-core Apple A5 processor with 1GB and come in multiple coloured plastic (tough polycarbonate based material) shells. Rumours are rife that the iPhone 5C would hold a price-tag of around $400 (without contract), approximately ₹26,300 in term of Indian rupee. If the rupee continues to get depreciated against the US Dollar, the final price may go up even further.
