Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, veteran Tollywood actor Venkatesh and "Baahubali: The Beginning" star Rana Daggubati are all set to attend the grand inauguration of Capital Cinemas to be held in Vijayawada on 19 October. The event will be held at Trendset Mall, Benz Circle in Vijayawada at 10.00am on Monday.

Chandrababu Naidu will be the chief guest of the event.

Suresh Productions and the Prasads Group joined hands to set up Capital Cinemas with an intention to provide wholesome family entertainment to the people of Andhra Pradesh.

"As the new capital of Andhra Pradesh is being developed as a smart, vibrant, modern city with world-class infrastructure, Capital Cinemas is proud to present the finest and most luxurious movie screens that have been developed for the city of Vijayawada - former capital of the Telugu Film Industry," reads a statement released by the production houses.

"Capital Cinemas is the new symbol of pride for the people of Andhra Pradesh. It is based in the futuristic Trendset Mall. N Chandrababu Naidu's dream of quality living for the people of the state is being envisioned by Capital Cinemas, showcasing state-of-art technology, breathtaking screening and luxurious seating, a glimpse of how the future of the aspiring state is going to be," it adds.

Capital Cinemas has seven giant screens with 90,000 square feet of 2D, 3D and 4D viewing pleasure, 7.1 Digital Surround Sound, Auro 3D Sound, 4K Projection and stadium like seating for around 2,000 people.

Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati are the key stakeholders in the venture.

The inauguration of Capital Cinemas will be a starry and glitzy affair. Besides the CM, Venky and Rana, many luminaries, political leaders and industry professionals will grace the occasion.
