Pre-wedding celebrations are in full swing for Boney Kapoor's daughter Anshula Kapoor, who is all set to marry Rohan Thakkar on July 6, 2026.
On Saturday, the Kapoor family hosted an intimate mehendi and sangeet ceremony attended by close family members. The highlight of the celebrations was Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor planning a surprise mehendi ceremony for their sister.
Several inside photos and videos from the celebrations have gone viral on social media. Orry took to his Instagram Stories to share a series of pictures posing with Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor.
Janhvi looked stunning in a beaded beige ensemble with a modern Indo-western touch, while Khushi opted for a blue outfit.
Anshula moved away from the usual shades of yellow and green, choosing a stunning teal-blue lehenga instead. The blouse featured delicate polka-dot-inspired patterns, embroidered borders and sparkling mirror embellishments. She paired it with a voluminous matching skirt, while the highlight of her look was a dramatic dupatta adorned with geometric Patola-inspired motifs, metallic accents and colourful touches of gold, pink, turquoise and silver.
Sharing the sentiment behind her outfit, Anshula revealed that it was designed as a tribute to her fiancé's roots and the family she is marrying into.
She wrote, "For my mehendi, I wanted my outfit to honour the family I was stepping into. This incredible teal blue lehenga by @arpitamehtaofficial is inspired by the rich legacy of Patola, while beautifully incorporating her signature mirror work, bringing together two crafts that are so deeply intertwined with Gujarat's textile heritage."
Revealing more details about the celebration, she added, "And while the outfit stole my heart, the day stole my breath! Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor planned the entire mehendi as a surprise. I knew there was a celebration—I just had no idea what they had dreamt up. Watching it all unfold, surrounded by so much love, is a memory I'll hold onto forever."
Arjun Kapoor kept it classic in a green kurta. Varun Dhawan also arrived at Anshula and Rohan's mehendi.
Another clip shows Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor at the ceremony.
Later in the evening, Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to share glimpses from the mehendi celebrations. In one of the videos, groom-to-be Rohan Thakkar surprised Anshula with a dance performance to the iconic song Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna. The bride-to-be soon joined him on the dance floor with a smile on her face.
Another clip showed Anshula dancing to a song from Dil Dhadakne Do, while another picture captured her proudly flaunting her kaleere.
Last year, around October, Anshula reportedly held her God Dhana ceremony. For the uninitiated, Rohan proposed to Anshula in July 2025 during a romantic getaway, after which the couple made their engagement public.
Anshula participated in the first season of The Traitors and emerged as one of the show's most promising contestants.
