It looks like Priyadarshan is getting ready for yet another class-apart film soon in Malayalam. The latest we hear is that the ace film-maker has collaborated with actor Anoop Menon to pen the script for an upcoming movie.

Reports are that the duo would kick start the project soon and Anoop Menon confirmed that he will be part of the Priyadarshan film.

"Priyadarshan... we as a generation was fed on his films... a master of the craft, the moments spent with him were replete with anecdotes and sheer movie magic... will be soon writing for the maverick.," Anoop Menon posted on his Facebook page.

Anoop Menon had recently appeared in a pivotal role in Priyadarshan's latest Malayalam flick "Aamayum Muyalum", in which he played a lottery ticket examiner. The actor was much appreciated for the way in which he handled the role with ease and maturity.

Anoop Menon has been a script writer in a series of movies including "Pakal Nakshatrangal", "Anubhav", "Cocktail", "Beautiful", 'Trivandrum Lodge", "David and Goliath", "Hotel California" and the last one in the list is "The Dolphins".

"The Dolphins" released in 2014 had Suresh Gopi in the lead and had received highly positive reviews from critics and as well as the general public. Anoop had also played a pivotal role in the movie.

On the acting front, Anoop is awaiting the release of "She Taxi" directed by Saji Surendran. The movie has Kavya Madhavan in the role of a taxi driver.

"She Taxi" is touted as a comedy entertainer and revolves around three girls, who are on a trip in a taxi. They come across four men played by Anoop, Suraj Venjaramoodu, P Balachandran and Noby. What follows is a series of hysterical situations, which forms the crux of the film.

"She Taxi" will also have Ansiba Hassan, Ganesh Kumar and Baiju in pivotal roles

Meanwhile for Priyadarshan, his last flick "Aamayum Muyalum' which was the remake of his own Bollywood movie "Malamaal Weekly" had received below average reviews. With the latest association with Anoop Menon, the director is expected to make a huge comeback.
