Tennis ace Andy Murray has participated in the NBAs half-court challenge but current leader, Real Madrids Gareth Bale, should not be too worried.

Murray came close on several shots but in the end failed to net a basket in five tries.

I enjoyed doing it, its frustrating because even when you feel like youve hit a good one its always coming up just a few inches to the left or a little bit short, said the Scot. I tried my best and unfortunately couldnt make one, but it was good fun.

Murray also picked his perfect five-man basketball team made up of tennis players.

Centre I would have Ivo Karlovic, hes 6ft 11in so hed obviously be good there, then John Isner would be power forward, hes 6ft 10in so those two could take up the big guy positions. Point guard is a tricky question, Id need a short guy whos extremely quick. Nadal would probably be good at that, hes a pretty skilful, pretty fast guy.

Ive got to have Roger Federer in my team somewhere, he can be the shooting guard, just because. Hed probably have a very nice looking shot, I would imagine. Small forward, Ill put myself in there, I probably wouldnt contribute much to the team, but Ill stick myself in there, why not.
