Earlier in the month, HMD Global Oy's long rumoured Nokia 9 cleared 3C certification in China and now, it has been spotted on US government-run FCC (Federal Communication Commission) website hinting that the Android flagship phone launch is just around the corner.
In the FCC filing, Nokia 9 (test model number: TA-1005) is shown with a 5.5-inch OLED display (sourced from LG), Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998) octa-core, Google's latest Android Oreo software, 128GB UFS 2.1 (from Samsung) internal storage and a 3,250mAh battery having 18W fast charging capability.
As far as the camera hardware is concerned, Nokia 9 is said to boast 12MP+13MP dual-sensors on the back and a 5MP snapper on the front.
In a related development, Nokia 9's front panel image has surfaced online revealing that the device has FullView bezel-less (right and left sides) display with 18:9 aspect ratio to offer immersive viewing experience, which is now become a standard in the flagship and also mid-range categories.
Most of the specifications and design language are in line with previous reports and also the device's specifications, barring the Snapdragon 835 CPU are on par with the rival brands.
