Google's latest operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is expected to come to Samsung devices, including the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 4 soon.

It is not known how soon the new firmware will be rolled out to Samsung devices but a report by Android Geeks has claimed that it will come sooner than last year's Android Lollipop.

A report by Android Central has claimed that Android 6.0 Marshmallow has being rolled out to LG G4 models (LG-F500K, LG-F500L & LG-F500S) in South Korea, so it won't come as a surprise if Samsung releases the firmware to its high-end devices in November.

PC-Tablet had earlier reported that the new firmware update is expected to be pushed out to Samsung devices -- Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 4 – by the end of this year before rolling out to other devices. The same website claimed in another report that "beta version of Android 6.0 build for Galaxy S6 is already ready," which can be taken as a hint that the firmware may come to Samsung devices soon.

Samsung has not revealed the devices that will receive the software but T-Mobile has announced on its support page that devices like Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Tab S2 will get it.

According to GSM Arena, the South Korean electronics giant will release Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Samsung Galaxy A8, Samsung Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

However, it may be mentioned that Samsung is yet to officially reveal list of its devices that will received the new firmware.
