After 13 years, the Mumbai Indians broke their long-standing jinx and curse of never winning the first match by winning their opening IPL 2026 game against KKR on Sunday night. Celebs gathered at Wankhede to watch the match. Ananya Pandey, Maheika Sharma, Suhana Khan, AbRam Khan, and exes Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma with their son Haroon, among others, attended the match.
But all eyes were on exes Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma as they enjoyed the game and posed for a family pic from the stands.
Taking to social media, Ranvir shared a selfie from the stadium. Ranvir and Konkona Sen Sharma twinned in shades of white. In fact, this is not the first time the former spouses have reunited for a family occasion. They were earlier seen together celebrating Haroon's birthday when he stepped into his teenage years.
Sharing the moment online, Ranvir wrote, "So happy we were there to see @mumbaiindians win today!"
Netizens had mixed reactions to their reunion, while many lauded how they co-parent their son despite their divorce, setting an example.
Ranvir and Konkona have maintained a warm and cordial bond while co-parenting their son. The two began dating in the late 2000s and tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2010. However, their relationship eventually came to an end, and they separated in 2015. Their divorce was officially finalised in 2020.
Ananya Pandey, Suhana Khan and AbRam appear sad after KKR's loss
On the other hand, Ananya Pandey, Suhana Khan and AbRam were also seated in the stands and cheered for KKR but exited the stadium disappointed as KKR lost. They didn't greet the paps and walked towards their car.
SRK didn't attend the match, as it was at Wankhede. Despite the ban being lifted, he hasn't been seen in the stadium since then. Shah Rukh Khan was banned from Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium for five years by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) in May 2012 following a heated altercation with security and officials after an IPL match. The ban, which prohibited his entry into all MCA premises, was officially lifted in August 2015.
