Yesteryear couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan completed 42 years of togetherness on 3 June. They have been the most admired pair in reel as well as real life.
The veteran actors have worked in several films together like "Mili", "Abhimaan", "Silsila", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum" and many more.
The reel life couple became a real life jodi and their son Abhishek also seems to have followed the same path as he married his co-star Aishwarya Rai. The "Guru" couple are blessed with daughter Aaradhya.
Big B, who is an active user of social networking sites, thanked his fans for wishing him and Jaya Bachchan.

Recently, Amitabh made headlines for his brilliant performance in Shoojit Sircar's "Piku". He played the character of an annoying father and it entertained the audience a lot; Deepika Padukone played his daughter's role in the flick. The film has crossed ₹100 crore worldwide and is still running in theatres successfully.
Apart from the success, the "Paa" actor has landed in trouble with the Maggi controversy. An advocate in Uttar Pradesh filed a lawsuit against Indian cine stars Sr Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Priety Zinta for endorsing Maggi noodles as healthy.
