Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha Flight Photo Just a Coincidence?

A snapshot showing Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in the same flight has resurrected one of the most controversial love-stories of Bollywood.

A source close to Big B has made it clear that that it's a sheer coincidence that the two celebrities were flying together.

The photograph showing Big B posing with a pilot in an aircraft went viral online. The photo also featured veteran actress Rekha seated just behind Bachchan. 

"Amitji was not aware of the other passengers on board. There were many Bollywood personalities travelling to Chennai for a celebration of 100 years of cinema," DNA quoted a source close to Big B as saying.

"It is a sheer coincidence that they ended up on the same flight. If someone is trying to suggest a rendezvous here, it is ridiculous. Because if that were the case, they would ensure they weren't on the same flight."

This is not the first time Bachchan and Rekha were spotted together. They were earlier seen at Rakesh Roshan's birthday bash in September, but had apparently avoided each other. [Check the photos here]

Also, there were reports that they will be sharing screen space in Feroz Nadiadwa's comedy film "Welcome Back".

But an insider refuted the rumours saying that the legendary actors are not coming together for a film. "He is not doing that film. He isn't aware of who the other actors in the film are," the source said.
