The makers of "Shamitabh", which stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil superstar Dhanush in the lead roles, have released the second trailer of the R Balki directorial.

Bachchan shared the link of the second trailer on his Twitter account.

The recent trailer reveals Bachchan as Dhanush's aide in the film.

Even as Dhanush is seen saying, "Only the media can create a rift between a man's face and his voice," we hear Bachchan's voice in the background. This makes it clear that Big B's sound will be a key feature of the film, while Dhanush will play a mute character.

In the flick, Dhanush will play the role of a rising actor who is supported by Bachchan. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara Haasan - who marks her debut with this film - will be seen as a film director.

Expectations are high for "Shamitabh" as Big B is working with Balki for the third time after giving superhits like "Cheeni Kum" and "Paa".

This is Dhanush's second Bollywood film, who made his debut in "Raanjhanaa" opposite Sonam Kapoor in 2013.

Latest reports also suggest that Akshara's sister Shruti Haasan has sang a song in the upcoming film. The "3" actress had also recently lent her voice for Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer "Tevar".

Apart from the performances by the lead characters, music maestro Ilayaraja's music is also a main highlight of the film.

"Shamitabh" - which also has Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Anurag Basu, Rajkumar Hirani and many others in cameo roles - will hit the screens on 6 February.
