Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan will be attending the 60th birthday party of megastar Chiranjeevi, which will be held in Hyderabad on Saturday, 22 August, reports said.

It was Chiranjeevi's son, actor Ram Charan Teja's idea to host a grand birthday bash for his father at a plush hotel in the city. He has sent invitations to many celebrities in South Indian film industry as well as in Bollywood. Many leading politicians are also in the party list.

"Telugu stars such as Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Jagapathi Babu are expected to attend it. Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan Kalyan, who is busy shooting for 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', will also be present," a source said.

Amitabh Bachchan, who has a very good relationship with Chiranjeevi, has agreed to attend the party, reports said. "Charan is very close to the Bachchan family and when he extended a personal invitation, Bachchan ji immediately agreed to be a part of the event," the source added.

"Ram Charan had played the role of Amitabh Bachchan in the remake of Hindi film Zanjeer. Invitations have been sent to Aamir ji. Both of them have confirmed to attend the event at any cost," a source close to Ram Charan told IANS.

Chiranjeevi's hardcore fans have already begun birthday celebrations in the city. His family and close friends are looking forward to the grand event on Saturday evening. The party will be one of the biggest starry and glitzy events of Tollywood in 2015, film industry sources said.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi will be playing a cameo role in director Srinu Vaitla's yet-to-be titled Telugu film starring Ram Charan. "Chiranjeevi sir is playing a brief role. He will soon join the sets and shoot his part," a source said.
