Amber Rose is facing the flak for being presumptuous about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh's gender identity. The model-actress took to Instagram and posted a picture of Shiloh dressed in a black suit and applauded the high-profile celebrity couple for letting Shiloh dress like a man.
"How gorgeous is John Jolie Pitt?" Born into the perfect family for him. #TransKid #LoveurKidsNoMatterWhat #Support," she captioned Shiloh pictures (now removed) on her Instagram profile, according to E! online. The picture shows Jolie's daughter attending the premiere of "Unbroken" with her family.
Brangelina's eight-year-old daughter sported a black suit with white shirt and black tie, for the event. She reportedly matched the looks of her brothers, who were also dressed in a black suit. Shiloh wore her hair short. Both, Jolie and Pitt are yet to comment on the Rose's alleged assumption.
Shiloh is Brangelina's second daughter. She was born in 2006, in Swakopmund and holds dual nationality -- American and Namibian. She has often been spotted dressed in boyish clothes and likes wearing her hair short. Moreover, Pitt revealed in one of his previous interviews that Shiloh likes to be addressed as John.
"She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it's a Peter Pan thing," he said during his appearance on Oprah Winfrey show, as per the website. Jolie has also admitted in her interview to Vanity Fair that Shiloh "likes dressing up like a boy".
"Shiloh, we feel has Montenegro style. It's how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes [regular] suits. So it's a suit with a tie and a jacket and slacks, or a tracksuit. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys' everything. She thinks she's one of the brothers," she said.
However, despite Jolie saying that Shiloh "wants to be a boy," Rose has been criticised for her assuming that Shiloh is a "transkid." Here are a few Twitter reactions:
So ignorant & arrogant for @DaRealAmberRose to label Shiloh as a "transkid"...
