The final rites of actor-turned-politician Ambareesh, who died on Saturday, November 24, will be performed at the Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru on Monday. Ambareesh's Video from Kurukshetra Leaked Online
Ambareesh's body was flown back to Bengaluru from Mandya on an Indian Navy chopper. The funeral procession will pass through Sumanahalli to Kanteerava Studios. The vehicular movement in the city was affected due to traffic restrictions on the route.
The final rites will be performed as per the Vokkaliga customs with full state honours. A pyre measuring 9 feet X 10 feet is being prepared at the Kanteerava Studios.
Meanwhile, the preparations for the final rites are underway at the Kanteerava Studios near Dr Rajkumar's Memorial. Separate seating arrangements will be made for VIPs and the general public.
The state government has also decided to build a memorial at the Kanteerava Studios.
Veteran actor Ambareesh died of cardiac arrest on Saturday. His body was first kept at the Kanteerava Stadium before shifting it to Mandya following the demand from the public.
