YU Televentures Ltd, in collaboration with Amazon India, is reportedly hosting a special Yuphoria sale on Wednesday.
The company will be sending an email to select list of buyers, who despite participating in all six previous flash sales could not get their hands on the elusive YU phone.
This promotional retail strategy dubbed as 'The Golden Ticket Sale' will go live on 8 July between 2pm and 5pm, reported BGR India.
YU had previously conducted similar sales drive for Yureka in the early part of 2015. This is more of a loyalty building strategy by the company, so that the users – impressed by the warm gesture showered by the YU and Amazon India – may buy new devices in the future.
Other prospective buyers, who do not possess a Golden Ticket, can try their luck on Thursday, 9 July, at 2pm via normal flash sale.
For the uninitiated, YU Yuphoria sports 5.0-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12 powered by Snapdragon 410 series CPU, 2GB RAM, Adreno 306 graphics engine and 2,230mAh battery.
