The sixth edition of the YU Yuphoria flash sale is all set to go live later on Thursday, 2 July, in India.

Amazon India will host the flash sale a 2:00 pm on Thursday, but information regarding the number of units available for purchase is yet to be announced by the company. We will update about it as it develops.

For the uninitiated, YU Yuphoria sports 5.0-inch HD IPS display and runs on the Android Lollipop based Cyanogen OS 12 powered by the Snapdragon 410 series CPU, 2GB RAM, Adreno 306 graphics engine and 2230 mAh battery.

In a related development, YU announced that the company has begun assembling Yuphoria in India; thus, giving thrust to the union government's ambitious "Make in India" policy.

YU, via Twitter, posted the snapshot of a company's employee holding the Yuphoria at the assembling plant.
