It seems Andrew Garfield may soon put a ring on Emma Stone's finger.

The "The Amazing Spider-Man" couple appears to be taking their relationship to the next level as they were reportedly spotted shopping for a wedding ring in Diamond District of New York City recently.

The couple shares an undeniable chemistry both on and off the screen, and is now understood to be designing rings for each other.

"They were looking for a loose emerald-shaped stone. They want to design an engagement ring together," HollywoodLife quoted an insider from Star Magazine.

The two have been in a steady relationship for around two years now, and fans are ecstatic to know if they are finally ready to step into matrimonial bliss. Rumor has it that though the couple started searching for the perfect engagement ring only recently, Garfield proposed to Stone a long time back.

"He's always known that she's the one," the source further said.

The actors met on the sets of "The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012), and are understood to have enjoyed a smooth ride of romance ever since.

Speaking of his first impression of Stone, Garfield revealed to Glamour Magazine:

"It was like I woke up when she came in. She was the last person to screen-test, and I was so bored of it by then... And then she came in, and it was like diving into whitewater rapids and having no desire to hang on to the side. Throughout shooting, it was wild and exciting. I couldn't help but try to stay with her, keep pace with her and not let her get away. [Laughs.] Like an animal preying on a smaller animal, but a wily smaller animal."

In a rare interview to Vogue, Stone also confessed that Garfield is an extremely important person in her life.

"I think I've learned a lot by being around him. And, you know, he is an incredibly important person to me."

Stone even suggested that she loves working with Garfield as an actor as well, and it's fun to share screen space with him.

After Stone's interview, Garfield wrote a mail to to Vogue, stating: "I thank my lucky stars that we've been able to be on this ride together. We all need companions in the mystery to get you out of your head and into your heart, to moan to and to take the piss out of it all with," reported HollywoodLife.

Unfortunately, the couple will not be seen together in "The Amazing Spider-Man 3".
