The much-awaited Malayalam movie, "Amar Akbar Antony", which will star Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya is shaping up to be a grand project.

The Nadirshah directorial is scheduled to begin shooting by April 2015. The director has proved his talent as mimicry artist, singer and actor and now he is expected to prove his talent as a film-maker.

Though the title resembles the vintage Bollywood film, "Amar Akbar Anthony", which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor, the director confirmed that the film's story has nothing to do with its Hindi namesake. The film is touted as a comedy entertainer and the title is inspired from the names of the three protagonists of the film.

The film reportedly will have a song, which will be sung together by Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya. Prithviraj has previously sung songs for seven films including "Puthiya Mukham", "Thanthonni", "Pokkiriraja", 'Anwar", "Urumi", "Hero" and "7th Day".

Meanwhile, Indrajith has sung for five films including "Mullavalliyum Thenmavum", "Chekavar", "Happy Husbands", "Nayakan" and "Arikil Oraal" and Jayasurya has tried his luck in singing for films like "Immini Nalloraal", "Punyalan Agarbattis" and "Happy Journey" and a music album, "Ormathalukal".

The trio has earlier worked together in 2006 Lal Jose directorial "Classmates". Apart from Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya, the film also had Kavya Madhavan, Narain, Jagathy Sreekumar, Balachandra Menon and Radhika in the cast. The film became one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and grabbed Kerala State Film Award for Best Popular Film and Best Story.

The director, Nadirshah, is often known in the industry as a parody song writer and composer. He began his career in mimicry in Kalabhavan mimics troupe along with prominent actors Dileep, Kalabhavan Mani, Salim Kumar and Harishree Ashokan. He had also acted in minor roles and has also worked as playback singer, lyricist and composer. He is currently anchoring the television show, "Star Ragging", in Kairali TV.

The film with Prithviraj-Indrajith-Jayasurya combination has created a lot of expectations and the script is penned by debutants Bipin and Vishnu
