The film reportedly will be releasing in 1,000 screens on Friday. Advance bookings for the film have started and there is a huge demand among fans to buy the tickets.
Besides India, "Race Gurram" will be releasing in key overseas markets including Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, the US, the UK and Netherlands.
Expectations are high for the film as it stars Allu Arjun in the lead role. The actor has teamed up with director Surender Reddy for the first time in this film. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the big budget entertainer, while the other cast members include Shaam, Saloni Aswani, Prakash Raj, Suhasini Maniratnam, Bramhanandam and Mukesh Rishi.
The film's story is about two brothers played by Allu Arjun and Shaam. It is deemed as a family entertainer with all the commercial elements including action, romance, songs, comedy and emotions.
The Allu Arjun starrer is carrying positive reports, thanks to the film's impressive first look posters and the trailer. The film's songs, composed by Thaman, have also turned out to be chartbusters.
"Race Gurram" will be Allu Arjun's first release of the year. The actor's last release "Iddarammayilatho" received average reviews from critics and fans. The sylish star and his fans would be hoping that "Race Gurram" turns out to be a big hit.
The film is expected to take a fantastic opening on the first day. Further, its performance will depend on its content. It remains to be seen if the film will be able to impress the audience and get positive reviews.
