Even as Allu Arjun's "Iddarammayilatho" is still running in theatres, speculations about his next projects are doing the rounds.

The actor is currently busy with his upcoming film "Race Gurram" directed by Surender Reddy of "Kick" fame. Latest buzz is that the stylish star is all set to team up with Tamil film director Lingusamy, who is known for his films like "Vettai" ("Thadaka" in Telugu) and "Sandakozhi" (Pandemkodi).

Lagadapati Sridhar and Sirisha, who have produced films like "Style" and "Evadi Gola Vadidi", have announced eight new projects under their Rama Lakshmi Creations banner on the eve of Sridhar's birthday.

One of the films will be directed by Lingusamy and Allu Arjun will play the male lead. The film is expected to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

Earlier, there were reports that Allu Arjun who has a massive fan following in the Telugu film industry would be working in a Tamil film by Rajesh of "OKOK" and "SMS" fame. However, there was no official confirmation on the same.

But now reports have emerged that the actor will be part of Lingusamy's film. The director is on a success streak after his projects have been doing good business at the box office. As a director, Lingu's last release was "Vettai", one of the blockbusters of 2012.

He then produced national award winning film "Vazhakku Enn 18/9" and Vikram Prabhu's debut flick "Kumki" under his Thirupathi Brothers banner. Lingu is also producing Vikram's upcoming "Ivan Veramathiri."

The director will also be producing Kamal Haasan's new film, which he would start after completing "Vishwaroopam 2." Kamal is expected to direct and star in the flick which has been reportedly titled "Uthama Villain."

If the reports of Allu Arjun-lingu project are true, then we might expect it to be a good entertainer film as Lingu is one of the most successful commercial directors in the film industry.
