Actor Abhishek Bachchan joined some students to play basketball while he was shooting for Umesh Shukla's "All Is Well".

During break, Jr. Bachchan hsaw a few students playing on a basketball court. Very few people know that the actor is a self-confessed basketball fan. Abhishek surprised the students as well as the onlookers by joining them on the court.

He has been promoting games like football and kabaddi for quite some time. Now, he has also associated himself with basketball. According to him, this particular sport is not as popular as other games.

"Basketball is not as popular as cricket, kabbadi, or even football. So it is first about garnering interest, creating awareness, how it is played and then acquainting them with it," Abhishek said, according to The Indian Express.

Recently, he attended NBA All-Star 2015 and participated in the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game last month at Madison Square Garden as a goodwill ambassador to the league. Bachchan, a self-proclaimed Los Angeles Lakers fan­­­­, also met NBA players and legends while in New York for five days.
