Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt is one of the most trolled celebs of 2026. Just last week, the actor was massively trolled for her Cannes appearance when she kept waving at international paps, and allegedly, they weren't even clicking her photos. Netizens claimed she was merely waving at her team, who were eventually shooting and recording her at the Cannes red carpet. Following this, during one of the appearances, Alia Bhatt reportedly had barely 10 people rushing to take pictures with her at Cannes, and she was once again trolled for paid PR.
And then at the airport, when she touched down in Mumbai, Indian paparazzi hovered around her to click pictures. However, she avoided them and didn't pose, which led to another round of trolling with many claiming she was shading paps who genuinely wanted photos of her.
Alia Bhatt on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent 2: Fans unhappy
And if the entire last week wasn't enough, Alia has once again landed in the middle of online discourse. This time, Sharvari Wagh and Alia Bhatt, the Alpha duo, will reportedly be seen as guests on season 2 of India's Got Latent. Well, if you've watched the show, you'd know it's completely unfiltered, raw and packed with cuss words. It's more like a boys and girls group chat where literally anyone can say anything, and there's no script involved.
The show is only available for Samay Raina's subscribers and not for public viewing. However, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh becoming part of season 2, netizens are unhappy and feel the show will lose its original essence. The previous season had no promotional activities, just pure entertainment and brain-rot conversations.

Now, with celebs joining in for promotions, many users are wondering whether Alia will also use cuss words and gaalis on the show, and if she does, whether Samay will censor it or keep it exactly the way it is. Netizens are also demanding that no celebs should use India's Got Latent as a platform to promote films.

Take a look at the comments.
Alia and Sharvari's photo from the sets of India's Got Lalent has been leaked.
The photo shows Alia and Sharvari sitting on a panel with Balraj Singh Ghai, founder of The Habitat, a prominent and iconic live performance venue in Mumbai, and comedian Aashish Solanki. Both Balraj and Aashish were staples on India's Got Latent Season 1. The photo also shows a new logo of India's Got Latent displayed in front of the panel.
A fan wrote, "Latent will soon become a film promotion show."
Another fan wrote, "Man, even the sponsors are sus, it can never be the same show as before." Another comment read, "It won't be as funny as before. I expect more Bollywood people than actual funny comedians/influencers to make an appearance."
As Samay wasn't seen in the viral image, netizens asked whether it was an AI-generated picture or real.
Season 2 of the Latent is also expected to see RJ Mahavash and Ranveer Allahbadia, reportedly.
The India's Got Latent controversy
YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia had asked an explicit question on the show that resulted in the show and the comedians receiving heavy backlash, leading to multiple FIRs and police complaints being filed across various states against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and other panellists. The venue of the show, The Habitat, was also vandalized.
After the controversy in 2025, Samay last month came up with a video, "Still Alive," and confirmed that he will be back with another banner season.
Following the controversy, Sunil had openly criticised Samay and referred to him as a "terrorist". Samay later responded to those remarks with a dig at Sunil in his comedy special Still Alive.
"Sunil Pal said, 'Learn from Kapil Sharma'. Kapil Sharma was supposed to come on our next episode. All the irrelevant people trying to get some limelight by kicking the f***ing dead at that time," said Samay.
And irony has it, Sunil Pal and Samay Raina, along with Ranveer Allahbadia, appeared on Kapil Sharma's show on Netflix, India.
