Recently, Kay Beauty turned one, and Katrina hosted a meet-up with fans and beauty influencers in the UK. She was accompanied by her husband, Vicky Kaushal, and son, Vihaan.
For the two-day event in the UK, Katrina donned two striking looks, both featuring an oversized blazer and a skirt, paired with high-heeled boots. The actor also took selfies with fans and applied Kay Beauty products to influencers.
Katrina also spoke about her brand's growth and thanked fans for their love and support. Apart from that, she addressed body-shaming and trolling-related issues. She directly spoke about how she was fat-shamed during the Ambani Ganesh Utsav.
Katrina said, "I think we really need to be careful of letting the narrative on social media affect our self-worth and our value because there are so many opinions out there that if we're going to start trying to cater to all of them, I think it really hampers your ability to make choices for yourself."
She added, "Personally, for me, every time that I faced critics or comments, if I let that dictate my actions, I think I would have been paralysed with fear and unable to move ahead in my life."
She further said, "There are times when the world is going to celebrate you, and other times you have to really be your own biggest cheerleader."
