Algiers, June 18 (ANI): Algeria's hopes of beginning with a win were dashed on Tuesday as Belgium came from behind to beat them 2-1. Thousands of fans in Algiers' La Grande Post place cheered when Sofiane Feghouli scored from a penalty in the 25th minute to put Algeria in the lead. But Belgium came back in the second half, first with an equaliser from Fellaini in the 70th minute, and then Mertens seized the winner in the 80th. Algeria's two other group games are against Russia and South Korea, who play each other later on Tuesday.
