Alcatel OneTouch has announced the launch of its smart watch range in India. Alcatel OneTouch Smartwatch is a premium and elegantly designed watch available at an affordable price.
OneTouch Smartwatch had actually debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and was honoured with an iF Design Award by the iF International Forum Design GmbH.
Available in two styles--sporty dark red/volcano black and white--Alcatel OneTouch Smartwacth has been designed to appeal both men and women. It offers multiple fitness functions and connects to Android and iOS smartphones via Bluetooth.
Smartwatch packs heart-rate monitor accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter and e-compass. It allows users track their sleep cycle, distance covered, steps taken and calories burnt. To monitor the fitness goals, users can access the activity overview that the gadget offers.
Once Smartwatch gets connected to the users' smartphone it can send call notifications, social media updates and vibrates if users stray away from their phones. There is unique "Raise to See" feature also. Touching the watch's screen activates a multimedia remote control. Users can control music, take pictures from their phone from a distance or make their phone ring to locate it.
The watch is compatible with a number of Alcatel OneTouch smartphones in Hero, Idol and Pop series, as well as with any phone running on Android 4.3 or above and on iOS 7 or above running smartphones. It is dust and water-resistant, with a long battery life.

Alcatel OneTouch Smartwatch will be available on Flipkart from 10 September, 2015 for Rs 7,999.
