After the successful Malayalam entertainer Ann Maria Kalippilaanu, actors Sunny Wayn and Aju Varghese are joining hands once again for an upcoming movie with director Midhun Manuel Thomas. The team shared the first look poster of the movie, which has been titled Alamara (meaning cupboard), at 7 pm on November 10.

The title of the movie has been designed in the shape of a wooden wardrobe with a few traditional Kerala snacks like achappan, unniyappan and kozhallapam placed next to it. It also shows wedding garlands on the cupboard and a bunch of bananas. It is understood that Alamara will narrate the story of how life changes for a newly-wed couple after a cupboard enters their lives. Keralites have a tradition of giving a cupboard and snacks to newly-married couples.

On Thursday evening, Sunny had asked his fans to wait for a big news. "I have got something New 4 you guys!!! Stay tuned till 7pm :) [sic]," the actor posted on his Facebook page.

Alamara, said to be based on real-life incidents, is being scripted by John Manthrickal, who has earlier worked with the team in Ann Maria Kalippilaanu. The filming of the fun-filled family entertainer is scheduled to start in Bengaluru on November 15. It is expected to hit the screens in February 2017. The movie also stars Renji Panicker, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrans, Saiju Kurup, and Sudhi Koppa in significant roles.

Meanwhile, Midhun, who rose to fame with his debut directorial venture Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyaanu, has already seen success with his previous two entertaining movies. That has also raised the expectation of the audience from Alamara. The chemistry between Sunny and Aju was well received by viewers, and the duo's partnership in the upcoming movie is expected to entertain them once again.
