Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his next film Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, recently got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Toilet-Ek Prem Katha is based on PM's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative, and when the actor informed Modi about the film and the team's good intention to create awareness among the public, it did bring a smile on Modi.
The actor shared a picture of him meeting Modi along with a caption that read: "Met PM @narendramodi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha.' His smile at just the title made my day!"
Also starring Bhumi Pednekar, Toilet-Ek Prem Katha is a satirical comedy-drama and will also focus on the unhygienic conditions in the rural areas of India. It is set to hit the theatres on June 2.
