The much-awaited teaser release of Ajith's "Vedalam" or "Vedhalam" has been reportedly postponed. It was supposed to hit the Internet with a bang on the midnight of 1 October.

The news of teaser releasing on the midnight was announced by Madhan Karky, who has seen the teaser and given thumbs up for the video-clip. He had tweeted, "Watched the stunning teaser of #Vedalam. Brilliant work by @directorsiva & team. Looking forward to the teaser launch tonight :)"

However, the teaser release has been postponed for the reasons best known to the producers. Now, it is said that the video-clip will release a week later. 

The teaser is said to be a short clip that gives a glimpse of Ajith's character in "Vedalam", which was earlier called by the name "Thala 56". 

Fans Disappointed
The fans of Ajith Kumar, who were thrilled to know that the much-awaited teaser of  "Vedalam", which was earlier called by the name "Thala 56", is disappointed due to the delay. The buzz had reached a new high among the fans as they were ready to set trends on social media sites.

"Vedalam" has been written and directed by Siruthai Siva. AM Rathnam, who produced Ajith's recent films like "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal", has collaborated with the actor again for the third time in the last couple of years.

Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in "Vedalam" in which Lakshmi Menon enacts the important role of the hero's sister. Rahul Dev and Kabir Duhan Singh are the baddies in the Tamil movie, which will release for Diwali.
