The makers of Ajith's forthcoming movie, which is currently being referred to as Thala 57, had announced that the film would be released in April 2017. But the plans seem to have undergone some changes.

The buzz is that the release of Thala 57 has been pushed by a month. The film is now likely to be out in theatres in May and is expected to coincide with Ajith's birthday on May 1.

So Thala 57 will not clash with SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion, which will hit the screens worldwide on April 28 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It was earlier speculated that the project would lock horns with Ajith's film.

Coming back to Thala 57, the next schedule of the shooting will commence in the next few days. The unit has completed 25 percent of the film during the first schedule, which took place in Europe for 31 days.

The team still has to complete 90 more days of shooting, which will be organised in Chennai, Hyderabad and some foreign locations.

Thala 57 is produced by Sathyajyothi Films and directed by Siruthai Siva. Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan are the female leads in the spy-thriller.

Baahubali 2 First Look
Meanwhile, the makers of Baahubali: The Conclusion have announced that the first look of Baahubali 2 will be released on October 22 to coincide with the birthday celebrations of Prabhas.
